HK owner warned by Birmingham City manager

English Premier League club Birmingham City manager Steve Bruce has firmly told the club’s newest and biggest shareholder Carson Yeung that he will resign if he interferes in team selection. Yeung gained a reputation for meddling in first team affairs at his previous club Hong Kong Rangers. Bruce told BBC Five Live "If someone tries to pick your team for you then I don't think that is for me," he said. "He has bought a percentage of the club and by all accounts he will be ready to take over by the new year but you would have to ask him about that because I am a little bit left in the dark," he added. The Hong Kong businessman has already admitted that he hope to bring in Chinese players into the squad if or when he does gain full control.
