French Cup Winner FC Sochaux has delayed its participation in a tournament in China. The decision was taken after its Champions Trophy match against French Ligue 1 champions Olympique Lyonnais, was moved back to France from Tianjin, China. The traditional new season's game was to have been played in Tianjin on 24 July because both clubs were in Asia during the off-season: Sochaux in China for a training camp and Olympique in South Korea to take part in the invitational Peace Cup in Seoul from 12-21 July.
According to Soccer Investor, Sochaux had planned to visit and play a series in Wuhan between 17 and 24 July but this has been postponed to the end of the forthcoming season.
