Brazil government keen to assist Indian football

The Government of Brazil has expressed readiness to help India emerge in the sport by providing training assistance at various levels. "We can provide some help through programs for youth and training at club level," Brazilian Foreign Minister Celso Amorim told media when asked if his country can lend assistance to Indian football. To a question, he said the Brazilian coaches could also be interested in rendering their services to Indian clubs. "We really have good coaches. My feeling is that they will surely love to come here. India attracts a lot of interest in Brazil," Amorim said. However he also pointed out that since coaches are professionals, Indian clubs would have to directly approach them.
