Asian Cup Co-host Vietnam will prepare for the group round with friendlies against Bahrain and Jamaica, the Vietnam Football Federation announced. The game against Bahrain will be held in Hanoi on 24 June followed by Jamaica in the same city six days later. Local media reported coach Alfred Riedl, who is back in action after a kidney transplant, as saying that the “games would be a good tune-up for the competition”.
