Vietnam’s V-League football club Danang has gained sponsorship of VND2.4 billion (U$$150,000) for the current season from Indochina Capital. The Singaporean investment firm in real estate and capital markets operating in the ASEAN region said it is considering heavy investment into the team next year to build an influential club in Vietnam. The company’s General Director, Peter Ryder, said he is hoping the Danang club holds on to its league lead this year, a platform to build on for next year’s team.
