Korean Tire firm sponsors Man United in Seoul

In an attempt to boost its sports marketing profile in South Korea, Kumho Tires is title-sponsoring the promotional game between English Premier League club Manchester United and K-League club FC Seoul on 20 July at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. "We hope that this game can lead young soccer lovers to have more aspiration for the future while revitalising general public's interest in soccer reaching out to more people," Kumho Tires CEO Sae-chul Oh told a media event in Seoul attended by Manchester United CEO David Gill and FC Seoul President Wan-kyung Lee.

However South Korea's best players expect to be in South East Asia that day preparing for their 22 July Quarter Final clash on the road to the AFC Asian Cup Final.
