FA Malaysia confident Govt has all Man Utd facts

The Football Association of Malaysia does not plan to have a meeting with the Malaysian Government to further explain the controversy about Manchester United's visit to Malaysia scheduled for 27 July. Its vice president Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah said that the FAM believed the government leadership was fully aware when stating support for the English Premier League champions visit to the country. He said that FAM had also sent letters to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak to explain its position on the matter.

"We can only wait and see. If the visit materialises, well and good," he said as reported by state newsagency Bernama.
