German Bundesliga club Bayern Munich has confirmed its team will play a friendly in Hong Kong on 1 July. The team will start its preseason training on 29 June and will immediately travel to Asia, where to play the one game before returning to Bavaria on 2 July. The club will then to hold a preseason training camp in Donaueschingen from 8-15 July. The club's Asian schedule does not clash with the Asian Football Confederation's prestigious Asian Cup tournament being conducted in Bangkok, Hanoi, Kuala Lumour and Jakarta during 7-29 July.
