Bangkok Post: Blame Malaysia not Man United

"European clubs may have to think twice if they should include Malaysia on their Asian tours," wrote Wanchai Rujawongsanti in the Bangkok Post. "A few years ago, Real Madrid were scheduled to play in Malaysia but the match was cancelled because they asked for too high a fee. This prompted AFC Secretary-General Peter Velappan, a Malaysian, to label the Spanish giants ''bloodsuckers'. It is not Man U's fault. If the AFC and FIFA want to attack any party, they should target the organisers and countries that are to host them."
