Thailand's Datsakorn Thonglao's transfer fee from BEC Tero FC to Vietnam's Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL) is reportedly a record US$ 83,300. The fee beens the previous V-League transfer record held by Antonio Carlos from Brazil who transferred from First Division side Ninh Binh to Dong Tam Long An for US$ 70,000. According to the Football Association of Thailand website, Datsakorn will earn a third of the transfer fee with the remainder going to BEC Tero. His salary will be US$5,500 a month. ''I am very happy to go and play in Vietnam,'' Datsakorn said. ''It has been my dream to play outside Thailand. I hope I can help Hoang Anh Gia Lai win the V-League title.''
