Indonesian U-23 side may join Singapore League

The National Team Committee of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) will apply for Indonesia's U-23 team, Pelita Jaya, to join neighbouring Singapore's professional football competition, the S-League. Currently three foreign guest teams (from Japan, China and Africa) participate in the S-League but with all their players living in Singapore during the season. PSSI National Team Committee Secretary, Rugandi Soemadipradja, said conditions of the S-League franchise was a five-year commitment and age-group limitations. "That’s the rules, we have to obey it,” he told the PSSI website.
