The famous Spanish football club Barcelona will visit Asia next year, playing two exhibition matches in Japan and stopping in Beijing, China, to participate in activities counting down to the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The team will a play a game at Beijing Workers Stadium on 3 August 2007 and expects all of its star players, including Brazilian megastar Ronaldinho, to come. Xinhua reported that the visit will also help out the United Nations Children's Fund and Paralympics.
