Football tournament for Vietnam's underprivileged

Vietnam's southern metropolis, Ho Chi Minh City, will host a football tournament for underprivileged children from 31 May to 4 June, at the Zone 7 Army stadium. The VND70 million (US$4,400) event is sponsored by life insurance company AAA with Hoa Sen company, manufacturers of roof sheets, chipping in with VND5 million ($314) for each team to help their participation. The event will see eight teams from orphanages in Hanoi, Khanh Hoa, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, Dong Thap, HCMC, Long Thanh, and Long An participating, youth newspaper Thanh Nien reported.
