EPL's Bolton appoints media agency for programs

English Premier League club Bolton Wanderers has appointed Media Action Sports , a sportsmarketing and television agency of the SMT group, to market the international distribution rights for Bolton Wanderers programming, Soccer Investor reported (9 Feb).

It represents the second of its EPL delayed broadcasts following the signing of Charlton Athletic TV late last year. The new deal, "which excludes Japan", is for a "three-hour weekly international programming block from the club," the journal stated.

Juanjo Marquez, CEO of MAS, said: "Our relationship with Bolton has gone from strength to strength, starting out with distributing UEFA rights and culminating in this deal which we’re confident will be extremely beneficial for both parties."
